Book: The World is Open: How Web Technology is Revolutionizing Education by Curtis J. Bonk - this read will initiate interesting conversations with your Ed Professions students about the future of education. (Will cover the following Ed Professions standards: 5.0 & 13.0 and I'm sure several others as your students discuss the content.)

    About ATLAST

The Achieving Technological Literacy in Arizona Students and Teachers (ATLAST) is a three-year project supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF). The performing unit is the National Center for Teacher Education (NCTE) in the Maricopa County Community College District.

This project will provide teachers and future teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to prepare students for an increasingly technology-driven society. The grant will focus on the teachers and students who participate in the Arizona Department of Education’s Education Professions Program, a high school Career and Technical Education (CTE) program for students who have an interest in pursuing a career in the field of education.
